The rules here are pretty much the same as most any other forum out there, but I'm going to explain them here anyways.
1. Use appropriate language- Please refrain from using profanity, it's not strictly forbidden, but not encouraged either. If I or any other mod doesn't care for your post we have the right to edit it as we see fit. Don't harrass other members or use obscenely offensive language, you will be banned after multiple offenses.
2. No pornographic material- Just don't. We don't want to see that here, we're not a bunch of sexually depraved 12-year-olds. Don't link to pornographic sites, don't talk about it, and don't put suggestive material in your avatar, signature, or post. You will be banned after a first offense.
3. No spamming. Don't write the same post 50 times, don't make your post consist only of " lol ", and don't post something completely irrelevant to the topic. Posts will be edited or removed the first few times, after multiple offenses, you will be banned. Please make sure your posts contribute something to the topic on hand, and please make sure that your grammar and punctuation are correct. Small typos are forgivable, but I don't want to see things like "OMG tis is so kewl!!!!1!! " Please try not to use "AOL speak" such as LOL or OMG.
4. Concerning signatures and avatars: Your avatar can be either chosen from the gallery provided, chosen from another website, or uploaded from your computer. However, if you are not choosing an avatar from the gallery, please make sure that your avatar is 100 x 100 pixels, and it contains no inappropriate content. After multiple offenses you will lose your avatar privileges and possibly be banned. As for signatures, try to keep it to about 4-6 lines of text, anymore and you'll be asked to edit it. As said before, no innapropriate content, after multiple offenses you will lose signature privileges, and possibly be banned.
5. Image Guidelines: Please keep images to 640 x 480 max. If your picture is larger than that it will be turned into a link. There are no actual rules on how many images can be in a post, but please try to keep it under six.
6. The Administrators and Moderators have the right to act according to the rules as they see fit. This includes the right to delete your threads if they think it breaks the guidelines. If you have a problem with a MOD or ADMIN's descision, feel free to contact me via PM, although I will most likely side with the MODs and the ADMINs.
Any violation of these rules will result in either a temporary suspension or a permanent ban. Please do your best to keep Rat in the Rosebush Forums a safe and comfortable place to post in. Thank you for your cooperation.
